I believe in treating people fair and not matter what level you are the rules are the rules. The FTR applies to everyone equally and there is nowhere that it states that you have to allow a GS15 to use valet parking and have a GS9 walk from their home… I don’t put my reputation on the line or break any rule just because I am trying to please a higher ranking person. The sound of it is scary… very scary! I am ending this course after reading and completing “Section 5B: Business Practices” with my thoughts of doing my job and doing it well!

For the individual out there, who expect authorizing official and travel managers out there to break the rules for you… shame on you!
